EGR冷却器焊接残余应力的数值模拟分析

Numerical analysis of welding residual stresses in EGR cooler

  • 摘要: 利用有限元分析方法模拟了某型号板翅式EGR冷却器的焊接残余应力场,并从残余应力的角度对该型号EGR冷却器在性能试验中发生泄露的原因进行了分析。模拟结果显示,板翅式EGR冷却器焊接残余拉应力峰值出现在扁管R角处的管板接头中,与该型号EGR冷却器发生失效的部位一致。通过优化焊缝的焊接顺序可以显著降低EGR冷却器上焊接残余拉应力的峰值。

     

    Abstract: The welding residual stress field in a certain type of plate-fin EGR cooler was simulated by numerical analysis method. The cause of leakage failure in the performance testing of the EGR cooler was investigated from the view point of welding residual stress. The simulation results showed that the peak welding residual tensile stress of the EGR cooler occurred at the tube-plate joint position near the round corners of the flat tubes,which coincided with the location where the macroscopic cracks that led to the leakage appeared in the EGR cooler. Optimizing the fusion welding sequence could decrease the magnitude of peak welding residual tensile stress in plate-fin EGR cooler significantly.
