基于X射线图像处理的单搭接焊缝缺陷识别

Defect detection method for a single lap joint based on X-ray image processing

  • 摘要: 钢板单搭接焊缝区厚度的变化,使其对应的X射线图像灰度连续变化。这给基于图像阈值分割处理的缺陷识别带来困难。为了解决这一问题,文中给出一种基于X射线图像背景去除的缺陷识别方法。首先对待处理的X射线数字化图像进行噪声抑制,并利用模拟图像背景获得前景图像;然后对前景图像进行基于迭代阈值法的图像分割,提取缺陷目标;最后采用数学形态学处理,实现缺陷自动识别。结果表明所提方法能有效识别钢板单搭接焊缝中的气孔缺陷。

     

    Abstract: The continuous change of the wall thickness for the lap joint workpiece brings about the very different gray levels in X-ray background image. So it is difficult to automatically recognize defects using digital image processing method in X-ray image. In this paper,a method based on X-ray background image removal was presented to solve the problem above mentioned. Firstly,image noise suppression is carried on using Wavelet. Secondly,according to the X-ray image character,background image is calculated. And using the designed background image,the front image can be obtained. Then the front image is segmented using iterative threshold method. At last mathematical morphology based image processing method is carried on. The results show that the proposed method can automatically recognize the gas pores in single lap joint.
