Abstract:
Flow turbulence of molten pool may result in deterioration of weld formation in high speed laser brazing, which has limited the application of laser brazing in the automotive industry. The orthogonal experiments are used to research the influenceof laser power, wire angle, etc. on the weld formation in high speed laser brazing, and it is found that the weld formation increases with the laser power and decreases with the wire angle. The laser power affects the weld forming by affecting the heat input of the molten pool, which can affect the disturbance spreading on the surface of the molten pool. Wire angle affects the weld formation by affecting the position of wire into the molten pool, which can affect the intensity and spreading speed of the disturbance on the surface of the molten pool. The optimal welding parameters obtained by the orthogonal experiments is used to carry out the experiments and the high quality weld with smooth surface and no defects is obtained, which lays a foundation for the application and development of high speed laser brazing.
