High efficiency horizontal position laser-MAG hybrid welding technology for crane boom

  • 摘要: 针对起重机吊臂双侧长直主焊缝的接头形式、母材材质及板厚的特点,提出了一套采用优质、高效的激光-MAG复合横焊的解决方案,并开展了相应的研究工作。结果表明,激光-MAG复合横焊技术通过激光小孔效应,能够可靠稳定地实现吊臂主焊缝的单面焊双面自由成形,焊缝质量满足工程质量标准要求;由于新方案将接头形式设计成I形,不需要开坡口,显著减少焊材消耗的同时提高焊接效率。与现有技术相比,该解决方案的最大优势:一是能够保证焊缝背面充分熔透,更好地保证焊缝正反面的尺寸要求;二是实现一层一道焊接,省去坡口加工工序和工件翻转工序,提高吊臂的制造效率。

     

    Abstract: According to characteristics of joint form,base material and plate’s thickness of the long straight main welds on both sides of crane boom,a set of high-quality and efficiency horizontal position laser-MAG hybrid welding solution was put forward,and the corresponding research was carried out. The result showed that the horizontal position laser-MAG hybrid welding technology could reliably and stably achieve one-side welding with back formation of crane boom’s main weld on both sides through the laser keyhole effect,and the weld quality could meet the engineering quality standards. The joint of new experimental scheme was designed to I-type,which did not need beveling process,so that it could reduce the consumption of welding materials and improve the welding efficiency significantly. Compared with the existing technology,one of the greatest advantage of the solution was that it could ensure the back of the weld was fully melted,which could better ensure the size requirements of the front and back of the weld. The other one was that it could achieve single run welding,and that groove processing procedures and workpiece’s turnover procedures were eliminated,so that manufacturing efficiency of the crane boom was improved.
