Abstract: The background and significance of the development of the flux coated filler metal ring was briefly introduced, The selection principle of coating composition and the manufacturing technology of the coating were discussed in detail. The flux coated filler metal ring and the solid brazing electrode in environmental protection and production automation was compared. The advantages and its application fields were described.
