Abstract: As an advanced solid joining method,friction welding has attracted widespread attention because of its excellent welding performance. In recent years,the development of high-tech equipment in aerospace industry had the higher requirement on friction welding. In this paper,the research and application of ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology to the friction welding at home and abroad in recent years were analyzed in detail,and its application to friction welding field in the future was prospected.
