Influence of aluminum on weld quality of CO2 gas shielded welding

  • 摘要: 通过改变药芯焊丝中Al元素含量,获得了一系列CO2气体保护焊焊缝。基于对焊缝中气孔和夹杂的分析以及力学性能测试,分析了铝对药芯焊丝CO2气体保护焊焊缝质量的影响。试验结果表明,当焊丝中Al元素含量增加时,焊缝气孔敏感性降低;夹杂数量减少但夹杂体积增大;焊缝强度随Al含量提高先减小后增大,而韧性先增大后减小;当焊丝中Al元素含量为0.48%(质量分数)时,焊缝气孔较少且夹杂较少,焊缝力学性能良好。

     

    Abstract: Welds were obtained by CO2 gas shielded welding with wires of various Al concentration. Based on the analysis of pores and slags in welds and the mechanical properties,the influence of aluminum on the weld quality was studied. The result shows that,as the concentration of Al element increases,the porosity of the weld decreases,and the number of slags decreases,however the volume of slags increases. When the concentration of Al in the wire is less than 4. 8 wt%,the strength of the weld decreases,while the toughness increases with the increase of the concentration of Al. When the concentration of Al in the wire is more than 4. 8 wt%,the strength of the weld increases,while the toughness decreases with the increase of the concentration of Al. A weld with less pores and slags and excellent mechanical properties was obtained when the concentration of Al in the wire is 4. 8 wt%.
