Abstract: Based on the review of the development of IWE and other international qualified personnel training certification in China,the curricula,general access cconditions,examination and certification of International Welded Structures Designer（ IWSD） were introduces in detail,and the preliminary situation and development prospect of IWSD training and certification in China were also indicated.
