Study on laser welding process of 5052 aluminium alloy

  • 摘要: 采用1 000 W单模光纤激光器对1 mm厚的5052铝合金进行焊接,对激光功率、焊接速度、离焦量三因素进行正交试验,得到最佳工艺参数为功率900 W,焊接速度100 mm/s,离焦量2 mm。对焊接接头进行拉升试验,结果表明,最佳工艺参数条件下焊接强度达到282 MPa,达到母材强度的72%。进一步对焊缝截面进行分析,焊缝完全熔透、内部无气孔且无材料缺失的情况下,焊接接头强度最高。

     

    Abstract: The 1 kW fiber laser of single mode was used to weld the 5052 aluminium alloy with 1 mm thickness. The orthogonal experiment with three element of laser power, welding speed, defocusing amount was designed, and the best process parameter was the power of 900 W, welding speed of 100 mm/s,and the defocusing amount of 2 mm.The results of the tensile tests showed that the highest tensile strength is 282 MPa, achieves to 72% of that of the base metal. The cross section of the joints showed that full-penetration, no blowhole and no lack of materials, the strength of welded joint is the highest.
