Design and brazing performance of continuous induction automatic brazing machine

In view of shortcomings of unstable quality and low efficiency in brazing process of cemented carbide sheets and steel substrates in superhard tools, a continuous induction automatic brazing machine and brazing process were developed. The automatic brazing machine took welding construction bit as an example. The automatic brazing machine was composed of a loading and aligning device, a chip loading device, a paste dispensing device, an induction welding device, a frame, a machine head component and a control system. Through automatic control of welding temperature, welding time, chip loading device, paste dispensing device, automatic welding of cemented carbide sheet and steel substrate was realized, which ensured welding quality and improved welding efficiency.
