Welding test research on manufacturing process of Monel-400/16MnⅢ clad plate for pressure vessels

  • Nickel-copper alloy Monel-400 is widely used in the petrochemical industry due to its excellent corrosion resistance. In the manufacturing process of Monel-400/16 MnⅢ explosive clad plate for pressure vessels,it is necessary to perform splice welding of cladding metal and repair welding of non-composite zone. According to the weldability of the material,welding test research is carried out the on the splice welding of Monel-400 plate and repair welding of Monel-400/16 MnⅢ clad plate. The results show that the various properties of welding joint can satisfy the relevant indicators and meet the requirements of practical engineering application.
