Laser-MIG hybrid wire filling welding technology for 6N01 aluminum alloy profile of high speed train

  • Aiming at the side wall of high-speed train 6 N01 aluminum alloy profile,the welding characteristics of laser-MIG hybrid wire filling welding method were studied mainly from aspects of weld formation,weld porosity,joint strength,welding deformation,welding efficiency and metallographic structure,and a comprehensive comparison was made with the laser-MIG hybrid welding. The test results show that under the same test conditions,two kinds of welding joints’ surface appearance is consistent,the weld porosity of both joints is below 0. 6%,joints’ strength reaches more than 75% of the parent metal,welding deformation is within 1 mm. Compared with the laser-MIG hybrid welding,the welding efficiency of laser-MIG hybrid wire filling welding increases by 23% under the condition of no increase in heat input.
