Study on the effect of adaptive control technologyon the quality of spot welding body-in-white

  • For problems,such as poor assembly of parts,shunt current of welding spots,glue coating and galvanized plate welding,that affect the quality of welding spots during resistance spot welding of body-in-white,the Bosch Rexroth dynamic resistance adaptive control system was opened to carry out constant current mode welding and adaptive mode welding respectively under different influence factors. Combined with the difference between actual dynamic resistance curve of welding spot and the resistance curve of qualified welding spot,effects of adaptive control technology on the quality of spot welding body-in-white were studied. Research showed that adaptive control technology could effectively reduce the influence of external interference on welding heat input,reduce welding spatter and improve the quality of body-in-white welding spots.
