Design of digital control system for laser robot manufacturing workstation

  • According to requirements of laser processing process sequence and control function,a design scheme for the digital control system of robot laser manufacturing workstation was proposed. The system communication architecture was built based on Siemens PLC,and the integrated linkage control of all components of the system was realized. The laser welding process database was established and data service interface was provided to realize the interconnection with the upper enterprise information management system,so as to facilitate the enterprise to carry out production planning,production schedule management and product quality traceability. The results showed that the workstation hadfast response speed,stable operation and easy maintenance. It could significantly increase the welding efficiency and quality,improve the working environment of workers,and promote the enterprise to be a digital plant.
