Abstract
Objective At present, the new generation of nuclear power equipment manufacturing in China puts forward higher requirements for surfacing metal properties of nickel-based alloy, and the internationally used 690 alloy ERNiCrFe-7A surfacing material with electrode has been difficult to meet the requirements of high temperature strength at 350 ℃ and low DDC (Ductility dip cracking) sensitivity. Methods Through the analysis of the functions of various elements in 690 alloy, the influence factors of DDC resistance of 690 alloy were determined. Results Based on the composition of 690 alloy ERNiCrFe-13, WHDNi693 welding strip was trial-produced, and the matching submerged arc welding flux WSJ693HR was successfully developed. According to the welding materials developed above, the process evaluation experiment of surfacing with electrode was carried out. Conclusion The new nickel-based alloy ERNiCrFe-13 surfacing with electrode had excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and DDC resistance.
