Bionic design of overlying structure of plough share and its wear resistance

  • In order to improve the working life of plough share and get a overlying micro-structure like dung beetle,Design a metal powder cored wire of Fe-Cr-C-(B4C)xwas designed,which that can control the variation of microstructure from overlying to dung beetle by adjusting addition of B4C.The characteristics of microstructure of the deposited layer prepared by CO2gas shielded welding were studied though scanning electron microscopy and EBDS,and the hardness and the abrasive wear resistance were measured.It is found that the microstructures of the deposited layer are martensite,lower bainite,net-like(Cr,Fe)3(B,C)and a little of TiC.The microstructure is similar to that of dung beetle and the abrasive wear resistance is 3 ~4 times than that of 65Mn steel.
