Research status and development trend of magnesium alloy welding technology

The characteristics and application of magnesium alloys were introduced，the current problems in magnesium alloy welding were analyzed，and welding methods of magnesium alloy were introduced in detail，which includes gas tungsten arc welding，friction stir welding，electron beam welding，resistance spot-welding，laser-arc hybrid welding，gas metal arc welding，brazing．At last，the research and application of magnesium alloys welding was forecasted．
