Analysis of deposited metal tension properties EQNiCr-3 welding strip for nuclear power

  • The nuclear steam generator primary surface of tube-sheet needs the cladding with EQNiCr-3, but sometimes the tension strength and elongation can not meet the requirement of specification. Through analyzing of EQNiCr-3 deposited metal under the different conditions, it was found that the intergranular crack is the main reason for failure of deposited metal tension properties and the distribution of Nb second phase maybe is the important factor on the brittleness.
