Research progress on Commission II-arc welding and filler metals（IIW C-II）——Review of reports of arc welding and filler metals（IIW C-II） research group in the 70^th International Institute of Welding（IIW） Annual Assembly and International Conference

In the 70^thInternational Institute of Welding（IIW） Annual Assembly and International Conference,the total of 30 papers were accepted by commission II-Arc Welding and Filler Metals（C-II）. The contents of these papers involve three topics,covering the metallurgy of weld metal,testing and measurement of weld metal,and classification and standardization of welding consumables. Among these papers,the topics of 11 papers are about the metallurgy of weld metal,covering hydrogen in weld metal,microstructure and constitution of weld metal,weld metal cracking,and filler metals for high-strength steel. The topics of another 11 papers are related to testing and measurement of weld metal,covering the nickel-base alloys,high-strength steels,and creep and heat resistant steels. Moreover,the last 8 papers concern the classification and standardization of welding consumables,which mainly involve the diffusible hydrogen testing,chemical compositions analysis of weld metal and so on.
