Research progress report about the behaviour of metals subjected to welding(IIW-C-IX)

Papers accepted by the IIW-C-IX committee (Committee for the Behavior of Metals Subjected to Welding) of IIW2017 are reviewed. Research progress related to microstructure prediction and control,cracking phenomena,mathematical modeling of weldability,effects of weld heat treatments,and service properties of welded joints are introduced. The main research content,results and deficiency of these papers are discussed. Research hot topics and tendency,which are valuable references for universities,research institutes and enterprises,are reflected.
