Requirements of external welding coordinator for welding manufacture certification of railway vehicles

Welding coordinator is required by EN15085-2-Railway applications-Welding of railway vehicles and components-Part 2: Quality requirements and certification of welding manufacturer for welding certification manufacture. In special cases subcontracted welding coordinators who are not employed by the welding manufacturer may be recognized as welding coordinator. The requirements of external welding coordinator,which concerns with the aspects of personnel qualification,tasks and competence,employment requirements,are clearly defined by relevant standard EN15085-2 and ECWRV Guideline-PART 2.
