Research and application of a low current arc welding simulator

  • Welding technology is one of the important technical processes in the machinery manufacturing industry.Manual arc welding has an irreplaceable position in modern welding technology due to its simple equipment,flexible operation,easy control of the welding process stress and strain and other advantages.In recent years,the development of welding technology in China mainly focuses on new materials,new energy,research and development of new technology,while the negative problem of welding process is relatively neglected.In this paper,according to the training process of electric arc welding technology,energy consumption,environmental load and safety issues,based on the comprehensive consideration of pros and cons of traditional electric welding operation and modern computer simulator,a low current arc welding simulator was developed and applied in the training,which provides a new idea of "green" welding technology.
