Effects of process parameters on TIG-MIG hybrid welding process

Abstract
A TIG-MIG hybrid welding system was set up, and a series of experiments were conducted at different welding currents, torch angles and arc distances. The results show that, when the shielding gas is pure argon gas, the hybrid welding process can be stable, and the TIG welding current should be higher than MIG welding current. The torch angles have no obvious influence on the hybrid welding process and weld appearance. The arc distance has some influences on the weld appearance.
