Abstract:
Objective The aim is to investigate the influence of several typical welding grooves on the strength of key connectors in powder metallurgy porous components.
Methods This study uses immersion ultrasound testing technology to analyze the effects of three forms of non groove, I-shaped groove and V-shaped groove on welded joints.
Results Through research, the effectiveness of water immersion ultrasonic testing technology in evaluating complex butt welds has been verified, water immersion ultrasonic testing technology can examine the morphology of different positions of the weld and analyze data such as weld width, depth and depth proportion. The results of the ring drawing show that the welding strength of the three samples non groove, I-shaped groove and V-shaped groove increases in sequence, indicating that the higher the depth and proportion of the weld, the higher the welding strength of the corresponding docking ring.
Conclusion Three typical welding interfaces, namely non groove, I-shaped groove, and V-shaped groove are evaluated. The depth and depth proportion of the weld increases in order, and the strength of the corresponding butt joint increased in order.
