Abstract:
Based on the educational practice of Harbin Institute of Technology, State Key Laboratory of Precision Welding & Joining of Materials and Structures, this paper systematically elaborates the theoretical essence and practical path of “forging character, strengthening foundations, and empowerment” top-tier talent cultivation system. Addressing key challenges in graduate education for advanced manufacturing, including insufficient integration of ideological-political education with professional training, interdisciplinary barriers restricting innovation, and weak alignment between theoretical-practical capabilities and industry needs, the system collaborates across three dimensions. “Forging character” anchors value foundations through aerospace mission, building a diversified ideology teaching team and a “Chief engineer into the classroom-Students into enterprises” two-way mechanism.“Strengthening foundations” creates an “Interdisciplinary+” cross-disciplinary research platform, establishing a cross-disciplinary talent cultivation system and multi-disciplinary knowledge chains. “Empowerment” constructs an “Industry-demand guided-Intelligence-driven” industry-education collaboration platform, implementing a “Dual mentor + Project-based” cultivation mechanism and a virtual-reality integrated engineering practice platform. The practice demonstrates that this system effectively achieves a new talent cultivation model integrating ideological-political leadership, science-education integration, and industry-education coordination, producing outstanding talents with patriotic dedication and providing a exemplary practical path for top-tier innovative talent cultivation in advanced manufacturing.
